Senior Pastor

Pastor Scott Seidler is guided by a desire to be a wise Christian man. And, leading a Scottsdale Christian congregation of over 1000 members with the many opinions, preferences, and life purposes takes a great deal of it. Scott grew up on the northern Illinois prairie, studied at Truman State, Concordia Seminary and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Scott was ordained as the Senior Pastor at Shepherd in 2019.

Associate Pastor, Healing & Care Ministry

Pastor Alan Rosnau’s ministry is centered on pastoral care and counseling. He previously served as pastor at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Tuscaloosa, Alabama (1989 – 1994) and served two congregations simultaneously in Northwest Florida from 1985 to 1989. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theology and Biblical Languages from Christ College Irvine and a Master of Divinity from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri.

Associate Pastor, Pre-K Family & Youth

John serves on the pastoral staff through preaching, student and family ministry, as well as continuing to captain Shepherd’s online outreach effort. A 2020 graduate of Concordia Seminary, John started with Shepherd in January 2021. Having served across a variety of church and cultural contexts, and with missions experience in Guatemala, he learned to adapt and share the Gospel in new ways. He has a family of church workers, including both mom and dad, two of three siblings, and a few cousins and aunts and uncles as well!
