To the Moon
This is a grand THANK YOU to all the mothers out there and those that love like mothers. I wholeheartedly believed the cards I used to make as a child, “You are the best mom in the world!” I still believe it – my mom is the best, no offense to the rest of the world. Like we know that our mom loves us with all her heart and is always there for us, we know the Lord does the same. This week’s sermon will include the parable of the lost sheep. The Good Shepherd searches for that lost sheep and joyfully carries it home, then rejoices with His friends. To all those moms that have lost sheep – may the Lord’s hope and strength fuel your continual prayers for your lambs. To all those moms in His flock that have lambs also in His flock, rejoice and rejoice! My mom likes to say, “I love you to the moon and back.” The One who can love bigger than that is the Good Shepherd, who loved us to the cross and back. Hope you have a wonderful week with your loving Shepherd, and with your family and friends! Blessings, Tracy
