Guess what happens when a black cat sleeps on a black rug in a dark room. He gets kicked accidentally, a whole lot! He is comfortable there and doesn’t seem to care about the inevitable kick coming. When the Bible says, “Don’t worry about anything,” this cat is in complete compliance. It’s not as easy for humans to put anxious thoughts away. We may be quite comfortable for a time, but we may also worry the inevitable kick is coming. As Christmas fills this beautiful month, may we live out God’s Word from Philippians 4, more purposefully than a cat! Pray and pray. “Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” May His peace guard and guide you! ~Tracy
