You can have a gap in a fence, a gap in your teeth, or a gap in your understanding. Paul tells the church members in Thessalonica that they have a gap in their faith. He says, “Night and day we pray earnestly for you, asking God to let us see you again to fill the gaps in your faith.” Like a kind father teaching his children, Paul longs to be with his family in faith to help them on their holy journey. If our hearts are kind and open like Paul’s, we can help someone mend a gap, and just as importantly, invite someone to help us when our faith needs bolstering. God’s Word, Spirit and love build our faith and we are privileged when the Lord uses us as a conduit through ministry to encourage another. Wishing you thanksgiving joy and a faith-filled day! ~TracyÂ
