We are familiar with Christ’s death and the victory that brings over sin and evil in the world. Yet, the Apostle Paul emphasizes this basic familiarity time and time again throughout his letters. In Colossians, this is made clear as Paul outlines the conflicting ideas, philosophies, and spiritualities at work against the church. In worship this weekend we draw from this letter to the early church and discover clear encouragementĀ for our journey through this world and into an eternity with God. Our confession of faith is the base layer for how we live our lives.
