The apostle Paul wrote to the Colossians in chapter two, “For though I am far away from you, my heart is with you. And I rejoice that you are living as you should and that your faith in Christ is strong.” How that must have made Paul’s heart rejoice! It makes our hearts rejoice when our loved ones are living as they should, and with strong faith. With Shepherd’s focus on thankfulness this month, we encourage you to write a note of thanks to those you care about. How special it would be to send a little love note to your family members and friends! Also, during this time of political transition, it is imperative that Christians live as God teaches and deepen their faith in Christ. God is our hope (Psalm 33).
