Good Shepherd

Jesus said, “I am the good shepherd; I know my own sheep, and they know me.” Jesus is always good and always our Shepherd. Can I get an amen? Parts of the world are suffering right now with wars and rumors of wars. There is no human explanation good enough. Yet, Jesus remains perfect even when life is not perfect and sin destroys. We can’t let sin change our perception of our Shepherd. Jesus loves His sheep, always, despite their sin and the sin inflicted upon them. What a blessing, to be part of Shepherd of the Desert’s flock, in turn part of the whole flock of Christ followers. God knows we will someday walk together in green pastures beside still waters. We are saved and protected by our Holy Shepherd into eternity. He knows us by name so we can keep knowing Him as our Good Shepherd, always. ~Tracy
