Over the summer I saw “Tour Today” signs near one another – one at our preschool and one at the memory care center nearby. One was an invitation to a great start in life, one an invitation to a caring finish in life. In Acts 2, Peter’s invitation about the Messiah moved the people to ask what they should do with that Good News. “Peter replied, “Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”

Repent, turn to God and be baptized. That’s an invitation with clear instructions. Baptism is a crucial starting point, and one that is shared freely with our community. Many preschool families have been moved by God’s Word and His love poured out through our awesome staff members. Shepherd is blessed to be a part of their faith journey and baptism. A tour at Shepherd’s Preschool can lead to a great start in life, and a joyful start to eternal life. That promise in baptism ensures more than a beautiful start though, it includes a lifetime of God’s love and a heavenly finish. Rejoicing in God’s promises with you, Tracy
